Overview
Running a Shopify store involves numerous operational challenges, particularly around order delivery management. Managing deliveries manually — whether through spreadsheets or pen and paper — consumes valuable time and frequently results in errors, lost orders, and diminished customer satisfaction.
The Problem with Manual Delivery Management
For businesses selling products like health and beauty items, handling delivery logistics manually creates significant bottlenecks. Store owners must track orders, maintain accurate address records, coordinate delivery staff, monitor progress in real time, and confirm receipt. A sudden uptick in orders can overwhelm teams, leading to missed deadlines and operational inefficiencies that directly impact revenue.
